A BAILIFF caught up in an armed robbery by three men at a Reddditch firm has been cleared of pocketing more than £200 as he was bundled to the floor.
Jason Blazejewski was in the offices of Bristow and Sutor on July 27 last year when the masked trio waving guns burst in and held up female staff.
John Evans, prosecuting at Worcester Crown Court, alleged that Blazejewski put an envelope containing cash into the waistband of his trousers and turned away from security cameras as he left the office.
Blazejewski, aged 37, of Thorns Avenue, Brierley Hill, denied the theft of £233 and was found not guilty by the jury after a three-day trial. He told the court that he had no previous convictions and did not know what had happened to the money.
